HOW
DO I GET STARTED? STEP 1
- Meet all 4 requirements (as stated above)
- Completion of 60 hours and passing of 2 tests at NSRE
- Take and pass state exam ($55 fee to PSI exams)
- Complete and pass 30 Hour New Affiliate Course
WHEN CAN I SELL REAL ESTATE?
- Meet all the requirements in STEP 1
- Affiliate with a Broker that you are interested in
working with
- Apply for E&O insurance @ $150 a year (get this info from
your broker)
- Fulfill your broker's requirments: such as joining local association,
purchase business cards, signs, locks, etc.
- Attend Core Course as part of 16 CE hours @ $40 required within
first educational period
WHAT
IF I WANT TO WAIT AND SELL? - Meet all the requirements STEP
1
- License automatically goes into Inactive status if education is not
current.
- Once it's current, it becomes a Retirement Status
- $25
application fee to remove from Retirment status to Active and start at # 2 in

Registering
All classes are open for enrollment at all times. It is not necessary
to wait until a week or so in advance of the class to register. Some
students plan classes during vacations from school or other jobs. Some
plan to attend as transition from one job to another. Some choose evenings
or weekends while working at another job. You may just show up for a
class when the class begins, however, tuition is always $10 higher at
the door. Full refunds will be given up to three days prior to a class.
Thereafter, 90% of the tuition is refundable minus the cost of a book
if you have received a book or book can be returned with no writing/altercations
with no book fee. After the class has begun, tuition will be prorated
for the number of sessions attended. Textbook costs will also be deducted
from any refunds, once the class has begun and a book issued.
If you are thinking about enrollment, we urge you to go ahead

page. Early enrollment helps us adjust class sizes and verify that we have
plenty of text materials on hand. Early enrollment also means you are more decisive
about your plans to go into real estate or to complete your continuing education
